Product Introduction
The HLTBB type reactive power compensation capacitor cabinet is used in power frequency systems with rated voltages of 1kV~35kV. As a parallel capacitor group, it compensates for the inductive reactive power in the system, improves the power factor of the power grid, improves the quality of distribution voltage, reduces losses, increases the supply capacity of power equipment, and obtains safe, reliable, and economical operation of the distribution system. The series addition of reactors has the function of suppressing harmonics, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the device itself and the connected power grid.
This device adopts a fully enclosed cabinet with high protection level. Each set of enclosed cabinets has live and current display components, which can be installed independently or combined with KYN28/KYN61 switchgear.
This device is a fixed compensation method, and can also be manually and automatically grouped for switching according to user requirements.
Working methods and characteristics
1. The device mainly consists of high-voltage parallel capacitor banks, series reactors, capacitor switching switch vacuum contactors (vacuum switches), current transformers, zinc chloride lightning arresters, reactive power automatic compensation controllers, capacitor specific microcomputer protection units, digital voltage and current meters, temperature control fan devices, electromagnetic lock sensor insulators, cabinet accessories, etc.
2. The device adopts advanced digital (or automatic grouping based on reactive power demand and power factor) grouping method to binary code capacitors of different capacities. Through automatic optimization combination, it can achieve the maximum level of capacitance adjustment with the least number of capacitor groups and the least number of high-voltage vacuum switches, without causing a significant increase in cost, and has a good performance price ratio. It can also be evenly distributed and configured according to user needs, with step-by-step switching.
3. The spray type fuse is connected in series with the capacitor. When a part of the capacitor is partially broken in series (60%~70%), the fuse will act and quickly cut off the faulty capacitor from the capacitor bank, effectively preventing the fault from expanding (internal fuse protection method is used for 200kvar and above).
4. The discharge coils are connected in parallel in the capacitor circuit. When the capacitor bank is disconnected from the power supply, it can reduce the remaining voltage on the capacitor by below 50v from the peak rated voltage within five seconds.
5. Series reactors are connected in series in the capacitor circuit to limit the high-order harmonics in the switching capacitor bank. To reduce the closing inrush current, the reactance rate of the series reactor is only 0.1% to 1% for limiting inrush current, 4.5% to 6% for limiting harmonics above fifth order, and 12% to 13% for suppressing harmonics above third order.
6. The structural design is reasonable, with good thermal and dynamic stability. The cabinet type live display device is mainly used to display the charged status of the device, and has a program lock, observation window, and forced locking function. The outdoor device has a fence, and the cabinet door is closed by bolt rotation, which is safer and more reliable to ensure the safety of operation and maintenance personnel. The cabinet door observation adopts the design concept of mesh CNC punching double-layer explosion-proof glass, which is reliable in all directions. The top of the cabinet is equipped with a geographical pressure relief cover to prevent pressure from being released in the event of a short circuit inside the cabinet. 7. The external dimensions, colors, and wiring methods of the device can be designed according to user requirements.
8. Using a high-voltage reactive power compensation controller to automatically control the switching of capacitors, with a high degree of automation, complete measurement, display, control, and communication functions. The capacitor group can be switched based on reactive power, automatically compensating for load reactive power without manual intervention. The power factor is above 0.95, and it automatically exits in case of external faults or power outages, and automatically resumes operation after power transmission.
9. The device is protected by a microcomputer protection unit, which has two-phase current differential protection and open delta protection functions. When each group of capacitors fails, the microcomputer protection unit cuts off and locks the group of capacitors, and other capacitor groups operate normally.
10. The device allows long-term operation at 1.1 times the rated voltage of the power frequency.
11. The device allows continuous operation under a steady-state overcurrent of 1.3 times the rated current caused by overvoltage and high-order harmonics.
